POSITION: Market Coordinator
We are hiring for our 2013/2014 market season and are looking for talented, people-oriented individuals to run our Farmer's Markets in the East Valley! The successful candidate will begin immediately.
Setup, including a 10x10 tent, display tables (with tablecloth), inventory and sampling tools (a minimum of 30 minutes before the market begins).
Sampling our products (4-5 hours, depending on market). This is the most important part of the job and requires someone that is friendly, outgoing and not afraid to engage the market patrons. Sampling our products is key - if you can get someone to sample, you've almost made it to the sale.
Selling the product and collecting the proceeds.
Tearing down booth and delivering proceeds to management once the market is over.
Honest - this position involves handling of small amounts of cash.
Punctual - we must be certain you are going to be on-time and not miss a market.
Some sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
We pay a commission of all sales made at the market with a small minimum guarantee.**
